New! Cross-Language Collaboration Workshop in September: Babel Wiki 08

Welcome to wiki-translation, a community dedicated to discussing the impact of the wiki phenomenon on the world of translation. This is a place where people interested in translation using a massively collaborative wiki paradigm can exchange best practices and tools, and discuss how to improve them.

I would like to follow this weblog looking thing, and would like discreet rss feed for it, not the wiki recent changes. what do you think about that? Best, MarkDilley

Hi Mark,

The front page may look like a blog but it's in fact a wiki page. Tiki does have a blogging feature but it's not turned on here. (maybe later)

I added to our wishlist "RSS feed per single wiki page"
http://dev.tikiwiki.org/wish1518

For now, you could create an account, and "watch" the page to receive an email for changes to this page.

Best regards,

M ;-)

If you guys want people to use this magnificent tool, you should be more careful about your translations, including grammar and spelling.

Bienbenido is not Bienbenido, but bienvenido. It really looks bad.

Otherwise, chapeau.

Dear Laura:
You are very right! This page name must have been written by a non-Spanish speaker/writer!
Take note that from now onwards any registered user to this site can rename pages. I hope you can help us keep the content correct concerning gramar and spelling!
Cheers
Xavi

Hi,

I am now evaluating the benefits of your work for my client (OHIM) which attended the last JIAMCATT meeting in marrakech.

Is this web site the only place where your project is implemented at the moment? I understand so far we can not install any TikiWiki that incorporates those highly interesting translation features...? I installed a TikiWiki engine but can not seem to find this set of features...

When will those capabilities be implemented for their use by anyone installing a TikiWiki?

Thanx for your great work!

François Magendie.

Since some weeks ago, you can download and use the last stable version of Tikiwiki, which is Tiki 2 and comes bundled with the "Cross Lingual Wiki Engine".

Hope this helps...
